National Apple Day
Tuesday 16 October 2018 - Book Now!
There will be an apple extravaganza here at the showground, as we invite pupils from primary schools (KS1&2) to join us to celebrate National Apple Day. Our action-packed half-day workshops will enable children to discover all about apple growing in our very own orchard and have a go at apple juicing, cooking and tasting.
Our Apple Day event forms part of the Society’s ongoing work to raise awareness amongst children about where their food comes from.
If your school would like to take part in this FREE event, please email Kate Kirby or call 01423 546283.
