Record Number of Asian Weddings at Pavilions of Harrogate
A record number of Asian weddings have been booked at the Pavilions of Harrogate in the first two months of 2017.
Based on the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, the Pavilions has seen a boom in bookings in January and February alone.
Location, new suppliers and a targeted marketing campaign has played a part in raising the profile of the venue according to bosses.
Graham Thompson, Venue Manager at the Pavilions said: “We’ve always been a popular venue for Asian weddings as we can offer the capacity of up to 450 guests as well as the exclusivity of the private lawns.
“We’ve now taken on new specialist suppliers in Asian weddings including room decorators and caterers and word is spreading that the Pavilions is the place to hold your special day.”
The Pavilions of Harrogate has taken 20 bookings already for Asian weddings alone in the first two months, with dozens of enquiries flooding in.
“This is a great start to 2017 and a great way to celebrate the fact the Pavilion’s opened 21 years ago!” said Graham.
Since 1996, the Pavilions of Harrogate has hosted:
- 11 Royal visits
- 513 weddings
