Great Yorkshire Show Website wins Business Award
We are thrilled to have won a major award at the 2005 Ackrill Media Group Business
Awards. Our Great Yorkshire Show web site – www.greatyorkshireshow.org - was selected as the Best Company Website, beating off stiff competition in
this strongly supported category. The site was designed by NetConstruct who are
based in Wetherby and have worked in partnership with the Yorkshire Agricultural
Society on its web requirements for the last decade.
The announcement was made at the prestigious Awards Evening held in Harrogate
on 30 March when the Yorkshire Agricultural Society was also involved as sponsor
of the Best Rural Initiative Award. It was the first time the Awards had been
held, and it is anticipated that they will become an annual feature on the region’s
business calendar.
