Our response to coronavirus (COVID-19)
At the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, we are continuing to follow the Government’s advice in this rapidly changing situation.
Currently, we have announced that Springtime Live has been cancelled, due to be held on Saturday March 28.
All ticket holders will be contacted, and they will be automatically refunded.
Nigel Pulling Chief Executive said: “We would like to reassure our visitors that every step is being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The safety of our staff and visitors is paramount and with the latest Government advice regarding Coronavirus, we have taken the decision to cancel Springtime Live. Everyone who bought tickets will be refunded – please can I ask you to bear with us as we process this.
“We continue to follow the Government’s advice, please keep an eye on our websites for details and we thank you for your continued support and loyalty through these difficult times.”
Great Yorkshire Show
We have taken the sad but sensible decision to cancel this year’s Great Yorkshire Show which was due to take place on Tuesday July 14 to Thursday July 16. For full details, please see: https://greatyorkshireshow.co.uk.
Fodder, our farm shop and café at the Great Yorkshire Showground, remains open for food shopping with social distancing measures in place but the café is closed. Fodder’s online shop is also open and a delivery service is available. For more details visit the Fodder website.
Please keep an eye on our websites for details of any further changes as the current situation continues to evolve.
We thank you for your continued support and loyalty through these difficult times.
