Farming families can benefit from a fresh round of free business support and advice in the new ‘scale up’ phase of Defra’s Future Farming Resilience Fund.
The Fund makes free expert support and advice available to farmers and land managers in England during the early years of the Government’s Agricultural Transition Period to help them to:
- Understand the changes that are happening
- Identify how, what and when they may need to adapt their business models
- And, to access tailored support to adapt their businesses
The support being offered now is the third phase of the scheme, this is explained in more detail by Defra here.
Phase three is expected to run between October 2022 and March 2025.
Support available for farmers includes on-farm business reviews, telephone consultations, and support with budgeting, business planning. technology adoption, environmental strategies and creating action plans.
