The YAS is a registered charity which champions and supports farming, food and the countryside whilst raising awareness of the tireless work that goes into maintaining our rural landscapes and producing food for our plates.

Your valued membership allows us to make a real difference to the agricultural industry and to Yorkshire’s farming communities all year round.

With your help, we are able to provide holistic and practical support through the Yorkshire Rural Support Network; contribute to the development of the next generation of farming leaders through the Future Farmers of Yorkshire; guide scientific innovation through the Farmer Scientist Network and help maintain our voice at the heart of government through the Yorkshire Food, Farming and Rural Network.

Your support also means we can offer an extensive program of education events, free to schools, from teacher training courses to Countryside Days for more than 6,000 primary school children.
