Additional course for those working with the farming community
As well as the course detailed above, the Yorkshire Rural Support Network is running an additional two-day mental health training course on 4-5th December 2024, specifically for individuals who are already working in an actively supportive role within the rural community.
The aim of this additional course, delivered by Mental Health First Aid England, is to create a wider provision for early intervention and first-level support to anyone experiencing poor mental health.
If you would like to apply for a place on the two-day Mental Health First Aider course, please email isabels@yas.co.uk by Monday 18 November. The course fee is £49 per person (normally £270) funded by the DEFRA Farmer Welfare Fund and includes lunch both days.
