A flavour of food, farming and the countryside is brought together under one roof for the little ones in the annual Springtime Live, a great family day out held on the Showground.

Held every Spring, the one-day event welcomes around 4,000 visitors who can enjoy live entertainment, farm animals, demonstrations and hands-on workshops.

Organised by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, Springtime Live is held to promote food, farming and the countryside. From chicks to lambs, piglets to calves, goats to rare breed sheep, little ones can get up close to the animals as well as enjoying live entertainment on stage.
