Wellbeing Support Training for Allied Industry Professionals

Wednesday 25 March 2026, 10am-2pm
Regional Agricultural Centre, Harrogate

Places on a FREE training course to learn more about mental and physical wellbeing and looking after the agricultural community are being offered by the Yorkshire Rural Support Network.

Specifically for anyone who comes into direct contact with farmers as part of their professional duties, this farming-focused course will be delivered by FCN (The Farming Community Network).

This half-day course will be held at the Regional Agricultural Centre at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.

It will offer support to recognise signs of those experiencing poor mental health, whilst also recognising the importance of self-care to help your own mental health.

What the training covers

  • Stressors in farming
  • What constitutes good mental health and mental ill-health
  • How to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill-health
  • Challenging stigma
  • Support available
  • Difficult conversations

Lunch is provided during the break.

This course has been secured for the agricultural sector by the Yorkshire Food Farming and Rural Network as part of the Partnership Investment Fund Training Programme.
