Apply for an Oxford Farming Conference Bursary
Future Farmers bursary applications open until 4 December 2026
Each year, Future Farmers of Yorkshire, supported by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, sponsors a select number of Future Farmers to attend the Oxford Farming Conference and the Oxford Real Farming Conference.
The Oxford Farming Conference will be held on 6-8 January 2027 and this year’s theme is Harmony.
Meanwhile, the Oxford Real Farming Conference (ORFC) takes place on the 7-8 January 2027 and features over 145 in-person talks and interactive workshops.
If you’re interested in attending one of the industry’s premier events next January, you can apply for one our bursary places here:
We request that those granted a bursary place write and talk about your experience and share updates from the conference on social media.
The closing date to apply for a bursary place is Friday 4 December 2026.
2026 Oxford Farming Conference Bursary recipient Chad Stevens said:
“Personally, OFC gave me space to reflect, reconnect, and regain confidence. Professionally, it reinforced the value of partnerships, collaboration, and leadership rooted in generosity rather than fear. We need to work with the next generation and the past one — not against either.
I would wholeheartedly recommend that other Future Farmers apply for a bursary to attend the Oxford Farming Conference. Go with an open mind. Go ready to listen. Go prepared to be challenged. And go knowing that the future of farming will be shaped not just by policy or technology, but by whether we are willing to lift others — and allow ourselves to be lifted too.”
