A series of Farmers Breakfast events are taking place in the village of Lythe, near Whitby, with the help of sponsorship from the Yorkshire Agricultural Society.
Ryedale Carers Support is hosting the get-togethers at Lythe Village Hall (post code YO21 3RT) from 10.15am to 12pm-ish on four Wednesdays between September and December 2022.
A social morning of conversation, memories and bacon butties are promised on the following dates and with the following speakers:
14th September 2022 – Virginia Arrowsmith, North Yorkshire Farming History
5th October 2022 – Imogen ‘The Jet Carver’s Daughter’, Whitby Jet
2nd November 2022 – Lydia and Lacy Hewison, Life in the Young Farmers
7th December 2022 – Maggie Moo, The ‘Saucy side of painting’ and Christmas party, with lots of goodies to buy
Ryedale Carers Support has to keep to limited numbers to maintain Covid-19 compliant.
