We are bringing together farming families once again this autumn with the return of our Farming Community Lunches.
Held by the Yorkshire Rural Support Network, the next date for the diary is Monday 1st November 2021 when there will be a Farming Community Lunch at Thirsk Auction Mart.
All are welcome. A hot two-course lunch with tea and coffee will be available for £7.50 from 12noon at the mart’s Gavel Café.
The lunch will include ‘Farming Memories’ with speaker Virginia Arrowsmith, pictured.
Kate Dale, Co-ordinator of the Yorkshire Rural Support Network said:
There’s nothing quite like coming together for a hot meal and conversation, whether it’s current news or a little look back and a few reminiscences.
Café owner and farming family member, Jackie Marwood always makes us so welcome and provides wonderful home cooked Yorkshire fayre.
Having Virginia Arrowsmith with us will definitely stimulate memories and conversations about farming times gone by.
All ages are welcome to join us.
