Be challenged and inspired to develop your leadership skills in agriculture, and apply for a Future Farmers of Yorkshire bursary place at an exciting, upcoming industry event.
Future Farmers of Yorkshire are offering two bursary places, including overnight accommodation, to attend the national AHDB AgriLeader Forum 2022 at East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham on 8-9 February 2022.
Entitled ‘Shaping the Balance’, the event and bursary places are open strictly to AHDB levy payers.
Setting the scene for a fascinating two days, the organisers say:
To create an exceptional business, you need an inspirational leader. That doesn’t mean having a fancy title, being a great orator or managing a large team. One of the most important qualities of a great leader is having the right attitude.
Research has shown that a growth mindset, embracing change and having a clear vison of your ‘why’ will influence your farm’s profitability. Surrounding yourself with the right people is critical to becoming the best leader you can be.
That is what the AgriLeader Forum is all about. You will be inspired by world renowned speakers, network with like-minded farmers, and be challenged and inspired in equal measures.
You will leave feeling reinvigorated, having challenged yourself on what makes you and your business tick, armed with the tools you need to shape your own balance.
It’s shaping up to be an event not to be missed and we can’t wait to see you there in person.
How to apply for a bursary place
Interested members of the Future Farmers of Yorkshire are asked to send a letter by email which sets out their background, skills and experience, along with reasons why they should be selected to attend.
Applications should be emailed to futurefarmers@yas.co.uk by Thursday 13 January 2022.
