Future Farmers of Yorkshire is looking to appoint a new committed, hard-working and passionate Vice Chair and Board members to join its Management Board.
Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
These are voluntary roles and the commitment is likely to be no more than one day per month, depending on the level of activity.
The Vice Chair and Board members serve for a term of three years.

Future Farmers is a group for farmers, vets and industry professionals.
The group is supported by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society and is open to everyone within the industry.
Our 1,000 members are from a range of sectors and enterprise sizes, with a mix of tenants, owner-occupiers, managers and employees.
It is free to join.
Future Farmers’ objectives
- Inspire and inform members through hosting headline events, such as the GYS Breakfast meeting or Spring Debate.
- Support members’ personal development via commercial skills workshops and training.
- Mentor and develop individual members through sponsoring event places with follow-up training and presentations.
- Develop members’ knowledge and networks through facilitating industry visits to Yorkshire’s leading agricultural businesses across the supply chain.
