Future Farmers of Yorkshire are being given the opportunity to develop their leadership skills this summer.
As part of the network’s ongoing mission to inspire and develop the very best to lead Yorkshire’s agricultural industries to a thriving future, a one-day Leadership Training session will take place at Pavilions of Harrogate at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate on Tuesday 14th June 2022.
Timely development opportunity
The course will help you to develop self-awareness about your leadership style and to understand the impact of your style on others, at a time when huge changes face British agriculture including prevailing uncertainty around future support for the industry, spiralling input costs and the need for some to diversify into other areas.
Farmers are having to lead teams of family members and staff into futures where the look and feel of their business is unclear.
With this in mind, the Leadership Training day will help you to find out what is it like to be ‘on the other side of you’.
You will learn tools on how to get the best from others through support and challenge.
