Oxford farming conferences
Future Farmers bursary applications open until 1 December 2025
Each year, Future Farmers of Yorkshire, supported by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, sponsors a select number of Future Farmers to attend the Oxford Farming Conference and its rival the Oxford Real Farming Conference.
The 2026 Oxford Farming Conference will be held on 7-9 January and this year’s theme is Growing Resilience – take a look here for details of the speakers
Rival event, the Oxford Real Farming Conference (ORFC) takes place on the 8-9 January. It connects people from across the globe who want to transform the food and farming industry.
In 2026, we are planning to send two Future Farmers to each conference.
If you fancy attending one of the industry’s premier events next January, email us at futurefarmers@yas.co.uk telling us why it should be you.
Alternatively, send us a direct message via our social media channels – Facebook, Instagram and X.
The closing date to apply for a bursary place is 1 December 2025.
All we ask in return is that you write and talk about your experience and share updates from the conference on social media.
Feedback from last year’s bursary recipients

Amanda Watson attended OFC and said:
The OFC 2025 offered an invaluable platform for discussing the future of agriculture. The conference provided insights into policy, innovation, and sustainability, all while offering opportunities to engage with industry leaders.
I would advise anyone with the chance to attend in the future, as it’s a fantastic opportunity to shape your career in agriculture
Joe Seels also attended OFC and shared this video clip which takes you inside of the Conference and is well worth a watch to get a flavour of what you can expect.
