Younger farmers and industry professionals are invited to a Nuffield Farming Scholarships Reception at this year’s Great Yorkshire Show.
Taking place on Wednesday 14th July 2021 at 4pm on the CLA stand (Avenue O, stand number 192), the reception is organised by the Future Farmers of Yorkshire and the Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust (NFST), and sponsored by the CLA, Evolution Farming, Lindum and the Yorkshire Agricultural Society.
The purpose of the reception is to increase awareness of Nuffield scholarships, encourage eligible candidates to consider applying and to provide an informal networking opportunity for Northern scholars and prospective scholars.
Attendees will hear from:
- Jo Speed, NFST Trustee and a 2008 Scholar
- Sarah Pick, 2019 YAS Scholar and Future Farmers Board Member
- Alastair Trickett, current YAS Scholar and Future Farmers Chair
- Charlotte Merson, NFST Alumni Officer
Refreshments will be served in accordance with Covid guidelines.
A Wednesday show ticket or YAS membership will be required to gain admission to the showground.
