To a one day meeting;
The restorative power of leys in arable farming.
From 9.15am to 5.00pm on 24th June near Tadcaster.
To overview the findings from two research projects conducted at Leeds University farm. Investigating the roles of leys in restoring soil quality in arable farming.
The meeting will provide information on how soils respond biologically to the reintroduction of leys. Together with effects on soil structure and functions. Rounding up with a short visit to the field trials.
The meeting is free but places are limited. To reserve a place and notify any catering requirements (lunch will be provided).
