University of Leeds N8 AgriFood Farm Open Day

Farmers and agribusinesses are invited to “peek over the hedge” into an operational research farm. To have their say on where scientists should be focusing their efforts to support the future of agriculture.
Northern-based food resilience research program N8 AgriFood is showcasing its arable and soil health research at the University of Leeds, Headley Hall Farm facility.
During a tour of the farm, researchers will be on hand to talk to farmers and agribusinesses, about their work and how it may help increase productivity and efficiencies in their businesses.
Following a roast carvery and networking, there will be a discussion session. Identifying areas where it would be beneficial for the farming and research communities to work together in co-developing future projects to address key agricultural challenges.
