Free farming-focused Mental Health Training is being offered by Future Farmers of Yorkshire at Selby Auction Mart on Monday 4th December 2023.
Delivered by RABI (the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution), this course will help you to build the confidence to start a meaningful conversation.
The training day is sponsored by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society and NFU Mutual, and will cover the following topics:
- recognising signs of common mental health conditions
- supporting others to get the help they need
- creating an action plan for supporting others
- taking care of your own mental health
This training is followed by two years of aftercare so you can check your understanding or discuss your experience of supporting others.
