Future Farmers of Yorkshire are offering a bursary place, including overnight accommodation, to attend the national AHDB AgriLeader Forum 2024 at Hilton Manchester Deansgate on 30-31 January 2024.
Entitled ‘Playing Your Field’, the event and bursary places are open strictly to AHDB levy payers.
Setting the scene for a fascinating two days, the organisers say:
While taking time out of your business might seem like an impossible task, the benefits you can reap from doing so are priceless: hear from inspirational, world-renowned speakers, network with like-minded farmers, be challenged and motivated in equal measure.
Arm yourself with the tools you need to drive your business forward, take time to reflect and plan, have a great time and recharge your batteries.
Not attended an AgriLeader Forum before?
Future Farmer Natalie Moore was our 2023 bursary recipient and she reported that she had a great experience.
The whole conference was about becoming a better leader, changing the way you think, learning to listen to and value the opinions of others around you and ultimately work better as a team.
The conference definitely got you thinking, it was well worth going to and as usual with all these events that Future Farmers fund members to go to, I came away with a few new friends and I would like to thank Future Farmers and the Yorkshire Agricultural Society for the opportunity to go. I would definitely go again.

How to apply for a bursary place
Interested members of the Future Farmers of Yorkshire are asked to send a short film or letter by email which sets out their background, skills and experience, along with reasons why they should be selected to attend.
Applications should be emailed to futurefarmers@yas.co.uk by noon on Friday 5 January 2024.
Since 2010, the Future Farmers of Yorkshire has been bringing together like-minded farmers, vets and industry professionals, supporting them by providing a platform for debate and the sharing of ideas.
The group is supported by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society and is open to everyone within the industry.
