Register today for a free place at the Future Farmers of Yorkshire Breakfast Meeting at the Great Yorkshire Show 2022.
Held on Wednesday 13th July 2022 from 8.15am to 9.30am at the GYS Stage, near Grey Gate, the theme of the debate will be ‘Farming & Food Insecurity’.
Our panel will be debating rising food prices, input costs and the surge in global commodity prices, further accelerated by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Recent events have highlighted the fragility of our food supply chains and the lack of strategy from policy makers has brought food security into sharp focus. Where is the joined-up thinking on how we balance profitable, productive agriculture and protect the environment and what impact will that have on Yorkshire farms?
