Future Farmers of Yorkshire is holding a Summer Social!
Join us at Wold Top Brewery in Hunmanby, North Yorkshire on Thursday 26th June 2025 for an informal social, open to all of our members.
Whether you are new to Future Farmers or have been with us since the very beginning, this occasion is a chance to get together, to strengthen connections and to take time out from agricultural duties in good company.
Starting at 6pm, we will take a tour of the farm, where we will find out about the sustainable farming practises that are shaping the business, before going behind the scenes at the brewery from 7pm.
We will round off the day with a BBQ at 8pm.
Tickets are £25 per person and are available to purchase via the button below.
The brewery tour includes two half pints of Wold Top Brewery beer. Additional drinks may be purchased at the bar during the BBQ.
More about our hosts
Wold Top Brewery was founded in 2003 by farmers Tom and Gill, who were looking at different ways to sustain the family farm with diversification and hit on brewing as their solution.
Tom is now semi retired and Gill passed away in 2020. In 2010 they were joined by eldest daughter Kate and her partner (now husband) Alex and over the last few years they have taken over the day to day running and business development of the brewery.
The family has farmed 600 acres high on the Yorkshire Wolds for generations. Sustainability is key to their approach and over recent years, they have been working towards a ‘min till’ approach.
Wind turbines on the farm generate 95 per cent of all the brewery’s electricity and all water used on site is drawn from the farm’s borehole.
