Future Farmers of Yorkshire is offering four fully funded places to Groundswell 2025.
This farmer-led festival is a popular annual date in the farming calendar and places are at an absolute premium.
The event provides a forum for farmers, growers, or anyone interested in food production and the environment to learn about the theory and practical applications of regenerative farming systems.
Groundswell takes place this year on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd July at Lannock Manor Farm, Hertfordshire.

Testimonials from previous bursary recipients
Silvie Rackham, grower at Northern Roots urban farm, Oldham (2024)

I went to Groundswell for inspiration and practical ways to implement the principles of regenerative agriculture, I came away with a head full of ideas and lots of energy for Northern Roots.
I heard someone say, “The old system doesn’t work, it doesn’t need tweaking; we need a new system” Could Regenerative Agriculture be the new system? It’s a step in the right direction for sure & I left the festival feeling hopeful.
Anna Pennell, first generation farmer nr Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire (2024)

One of the key things that I found about Groundswell is the number of farmers there that were talking about their own experiences, they could tell us what had worked and what had not in their own farms and real situations, and I found this invaluable.
